From concept rigs to trail-tested torque—get an inside look at Moab’s biggest Jeep event of the year and the builds inspiring our next wave of custom graphics.
By Pendilton Whaley, Adventure Life USA | April 2025
Each spring, Jeep fanatics from all over the country descend on Moab, Utah, for one of the most iconic off-road events of the year—the Easter Jeep Safari. This year, Adventure Life USA was honored to have boots on the red rock ground thanks to Lee Wallace (@lee_wallace20), who attended as a media guest and gave us the inside scoop.
From trail-tested Jeeps to wild concept vehicles, and loads of trail riding action, here’s everything we saw—and why it matters if you’re into custom Jeep graphics, Jeep decals, or building the ultimate off-road rig.
Jeep’s 2025 Concept Lineup: Rugged Meets Revolutionary
Jeep stole the show with seven all-new concept vehicles, each more badass than the last. These builds weren’t just for show—they’re proof that Jeep is still listening to the off-road community and pushing boundaries in design, performance, and customization.
Standout builds from the 2025 Easter Jeep Safari
Jeep Gladiator “Convoy”
The Gladiator “Convoy” was one of the most rugged and nostalgic builds of the week. Based on a Mojave platform, this rig channels old-school military toughness with a matte Ghost Ops paint job, a reimagined J-truck-style grille, canvas half-doors, and a full bed canopy. Built for utility and style, it features a 12,000 lb Warn winch, high-clearance fenders, and 40-inch BFGoodrich Krawlers on 17-inch Warn wheels. Inside, the distressed brown leather seats and bed-lined floors in military green made this feel like a modern battlefield rig with vintage soul. It’s the kind of build that screams for a matching set of military-inspired Jeep decals.
Jeep Bug Out 4xe
The Bug Out 4xe concept was all about agility, simplicity, and self-sufficiency. This stripped-down Wrangler 4xe was built to disappear into the backcountry with only the essentials. With half-doors, a 4-inch raised roof for extra gear access, and 37-inch KM3s on 18-inch Forgeline wheels, this rig was light and nimble. Custom battery packs were mounted into the side panels for extra range, and it even came with a roof-mounted electric scooter and hammock mounts. Minimal in design, but maximum in thought—perfect for the overland minimalist who still wants clean Jeep hood lettering and subtle vinyl touches.
Jeep Wrangler 4xe Blueprint
A blend of classic Willys styling and modern tech, the Willys Dispatcher 4xe concept pulled heavy nostalgia from the original flat-fender Jeeps while integrating Jeep’s plug-in hybrid system. The exterior was finished in a deep green with cream steel wheels and classic Willys badging, giving it a timeless silhouette. But underneath? Pure modern muscle with 4xe power and all-terrain versatility. This concept is a callout to those who love heritage-styled Jeep graphics with a clean, understated feel—and want their rig to perform on both the trail and the grid.
Jeep Wrangler 4xe Rubicon Sunchaser
Bright, bold, and built for the beach, the Sunchaser Wrangler 4xe was all about open-air freedom. Its solar-flash yellow paint and satin-black accents gave it a sporty, fun-loving look, while 37-inch KM3 mud-terrains made it trail-worthy. It featured a custom front winch guard, steel fenders, side-mounted storage boxes, and beach-ready detailing throughout. Based on the 4xe Rubicon platform, it had the torque and power to back up the sunny style. This one’s for the fun-seekers who love bright custom Jeep graphics and open-top weekend vibes.
Jeep Gladiator High Top Honcho
The High Top is Jeep’s take on a luxury overland beast. Built on the Gladiator Rubicon platform, this concept featured a raised roofline, a DECKED bed storage system, and Dana 60 axles with 5.38 gearing. A custom air suspension system from AccuAir allowed for trail flexibility, while 40-inch BFGoodrich KO3 all-terrains wrapped around color-matched steel wheels gave it a classic but capable stance. The exterior was finished with throwback Honcho-style graphics, and the interior brought the premium vibes with quilted tan-and-black leather seats, a full JPP accessory dash, and subtle embossed logos. This rig is perfect inspiration for overland-ready Jeep graphics and heritage-themed wraps.
Jeep J6 Honcho
The Jeep J6 Honcho concept was a head-turning hybrid of classic styling and modern muscle. Built by transforming a four-door Wrangler Rubicon into a two-door pickup, the J6 features a custom 6-foot bed—longer than the Gladiator’s—and a shortened cabin that gives it a bold, retro profile. The exterior is painted in bright white with metallic blue Honcho-inspired striping and matching roll bars, perfectly capturing the throwback truck vibe. Underneath, it rides on 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires wrapped around 17-inch bronze wheels, with a 2-inch lift that gives it trail authority. A functional steel bumper, auxiliary lighting, and a simple, purpose-built interior round out the build. The J6 Honcho is a pure nod to Jeep’s heritage trucks—and the perfect inspiration for retro stripe kits, classic Jeep door decals, and clean, head-turning graphics.
These concepts weren’t just stuck behind ropes. Jeep parked them right in the heart of Moab at Walker Drug, letting fans get up close and snap pics all week long.
Moab Trails, Jeep Life, and Dirt-Deep Camaraderie
While the concepts stole headlines, the real action was out on the trails. Our guy Lee Wallace ran Steel Bender Trail—one of the gnarliest trails out there—with a group of fellow Jeepers and media.
He reported back on how the latest Wrangler Rubicon 4xe handled everything from steep ledges to loose shale with confidence. “The electric assist gives you torque on demand, which is a huge plus for rock crawling,” Lee shared. “You don’t need to hammer the throttle—you just glide.”
It’s moments like these where high-quality Jeep graphics stand out too. Whether you’re decked out in matte black hood lettering or topo map-inspired door decals, your rig is part of the story.
Jeep Culture at Its Finest
The 2025 Easter Jeep Safari wasn’t just about vehicles. It was about community. Around every trailhead, campsite, and vendor tent, people were sharing stories, wrenching on rigs, and showing off their latest custom Jeep accessories—including a ton of Adventure Life Jeep hood decals and body graphics spotted in the wild.
From full-body wraps to minimalist windshield banners, the attention to detail was next-level. And with Jeep doubling down on electrification, there’s a new wave of trail builds that blend old-school style with new-school power.
