See your color on vinyl before you commit.
Pick any color and we'll print it plus 5 close shades on the exact material your graphic will be made from. Hold them up to your Jeep in daylight, choose your favorite, and the deck is credited back on your order.
Your screen and our printer speak different color languages.
The color you see on your phone is made of light. The color on your Jeep is made of ink on vinyl. A swatch deck shows you exactly how your color prints before we make the full graphic.
Light vs. ink
Screens mix red, green and blue light (RGB). Large-format printers lay down cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink (CMYK). Same hex code, different result.
Some colors can't be printed exactly
Neons, electric blues and super-bright greens glow on a screen but sit outside what ink can reproduce. We'll flag those so you know before you order.
Finish and light change everything
Gloss reads deeper, matte reads softer, and color on matte black vinyl pops differently. Sunlight vs. garage light shifts it again. Seeing it in person settles it.
Pick a color. We'll print it plus 5 close shades.
Every swatch is editable. The 5 extra shades are just starting suggestions, so swap any of them for colors you want to compare.

Paint code, Pantone, the product you're planning to order, or a color you're trying to match.
What happens between your screen and your Jeep
Every color is built from 4 inks
Our printers create your color by placing microscopic dots of cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink on the vinyl. At arm's length your eye blends them into one solid color.
That's why we show every swatch in CMYK: it's the recipe the printer actually uses. A hex code (#RRGGBB) describes light from a screen; CMYK describes ink on vinyl. The CMYK numbers on this page are a close guide, and our print software fine-tunes the final recipe for the exact vinyl and laminate you choose.
Bright screen colors that won't print the same
Ink has a smaller range of color (its gamut) than a backlit screen. Colors outside that range get pulled to the nearest color ink can make. Usually that means a little less glow and a little more depth.
These are the usual suspects. Left half is your screen, right half is what to expect in print. When you pick a color above, we flag it the same way.
Finish changes how a color reads
Gloss reflects light, so colors look deeper and more saturated, with highlights that move as you walk around the vehicle.
Matte scatters light. The same color looks a touch lighter and softer, with no glare.
Matte Black Base is the material for our hood graphics, fender vents and premium hood lettering. Your color sits on matte black vinyl, and colors next to black tend to look brighter and punchier than they do on white. Order your deck on the same material as your graphic for a true preview.

How accurate is the preview on this page?
It's a close estimate. We simulate how ink on vinyl compresses bright screen colors and show the CMYK recipe, but every screen displays color differently. That's exactly why the printed swatch deck exists: it's the only truly accurate preview.
Will my final graphic match the swatch?
Yes, as long as you order the graphic on the same material and finish as your swatch deck. We print it on the same printers with the same ink and settings.
Why does my color show "Out of range"?
That color is brighter or more saturated than ink on vinyl can reproduce. It will still print, but it will shift toward the closest printable color, usually a little less vivid. Your swatch deck shows exactly how it comes out.
I have a Pantone or paint code. Can you match it?
Add it in the notes field when you build your deck. Enter your best hex match as the main color and we'll keep the code on file with your order.
How do I use the $8 credit?
Shortly after you order, you'll get an email with a unique $8 code made just for you. Enter it at checkout when you order your custom color graphic. One code per swatch deck. Don't see it? Check your promotions or spam folder, or contact us.
Can I order decks on more than one material?
Yes. Build a deck, add it to your cart, then switch material and add another. Each deck is priced separately.
Stop guessing. See it on vinyl.
